MTV, the Hungarian broadcaster which is member of EBU, has exclusively announced that Mark Zentai has been chosen to represent Hungary in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, which will be held in Moscow with Vigyen a Szél (How We Party).
Hungarian broadcaster MTV has decided on their Eurovision Song Contest representative to compete in Moscow. The young singer, Mark Zentai, will represent his country this year in Moscow with the song Vigyen a Szél. The official presentation of the entry will take place on 11th February at the Fonogram Awards ceremony.
This year, MTV decided on their Eurovision Song Contest entry by a jury. According to MTV, they received more than a hundred songs, and the winner is a young talented boy, Mark Zentai. Mark Zentai was born in 1989. The song can be found in Mark’s latest album, called Nem éleg and has been composed by Swedish composer Figge Boström.
Hungary did not qualify for the final in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008, where Czésy sang Candlelight (Szivvéres).
