The Bosnian-Herzegovinian incident: songwriter speaks out and apologise

It seems as we have reached the final episode of the long soap opera of the internal problems in the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Eurovision team, as the producer and the songwriter of their entry, Almir Ajanović, spoke out about the incident, that could have been devastating for his country’s participation in Stockholm.

It happened in an interview, that Ajanović gave to the private Bosnian TV station, Face TV, last night. The songwriter of Ljubav Je explained that the incident, which took place on Tuesday night, is a result of misunderstanding caused by some internal problems inside the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Eurovision team. However he didn’t want to discuss these problems publicly.

Throughout the interview Ajanović pointed out several times, that he is very sorry over the whole situation and he also used this opportunity to apologise for his behaviour to the artists, BHRT (Bosnian National Broadcaster) and the sponsors. Ajanović described his reaction, which led to an incident last Tuesday, as unintentional. He attributed it to stress caused by the fact, that he has used a lot of his time and energy to preparations of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian team for Stockholm and raising money and finding the sponsors for the whole Eurovision project as well.

At the end of the interview Ajanović asked all people of goodwill to help and support the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Eurovision project both morally and economically. Although Ajanović has been excluded from the team he assured that he will be present in Stockholm during the Eurovision Song Contest as a private person.
