The long running Lithuanian pre selection is gradually coming to it’s conclusion. Tonight four acts competed where they performed two songs each. We are now in to week nine of the elimination shows. One more act left the competition tonight. Who would it be?
The Lithuanian national selection has been very popular this year with a planned ten episodes increased to twelve. It has been a long road and the conclusion is almost in sight.
Tonight the remaining four acts performed two songs each with one act leaving the show forever.
The songs –
1. Vilija Matačiūnaitė – Worlds Apart and It’s All About A Boy
2. Vaidas Baumila – It’s Not Too Late and Dying
3. Monika Linkytė – Attention and Blowing Out Cobwebs
4. Mia – Let’s Share That Luve Tonight and Take A Look At Me Now
The Voting –
The voting went smoothly tonight after last week’s technical hitch. The voting consisted of the expert jury in the studio and an international jury set up via Skype. The final set of votes came from the televoting public but they were only for the artists only.
The unlucky act to leave the competition tonight was Monika Linkytė. The three acts that now go forward to the semi-finals are –

- Vaidas Baumila
- Vilija Matačiūnaitė
