Martina Avramoska took part in the 2010 FYR Macedonia Junior Eurovision selection. She recently took part in a special concert dedicated to the late, Tose Proeski. The concert was called We Sing To The Stars. Martina performed Can You Feel The Love Tonight.
Martina Avramoska sang Zapejte in the FRY Macedonia Junior Eurovision national final. She has since been successful in festivals including the Open Europe festival in Moscow. Martina is currently working on opera music as well as pop.
The We Sing To The Stars concert was dedicated to the late Tose Proeski by the childrens choir Zvoncinja, the vocal group Melodium and the Slovenian society choir, Triglav and conducted by Marina Korunovska. As well as Martina the other soloists were Darko Grozdanovski, Damjana Apostolovski, Sofi Dmitrovic, Tamara Stojkovska, Daniela Radevska, Ivona Ognenovska and Sofija Trajanovska.
Martina sang with the choirs but she performed solo at the end of the concert. She sang Can You Feel The Love Tonight. This was originally recorded by Elton John but Tose Proeski also made a very successful recording of the song which was used when he was ambassador for the UNICEF charity.
Tose was a legendary singer who sadly passed away in 2007. He was not just popular in FYR Macedonia and the Balkans but left his impression all over the world. He represented his country in the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul with Life.
The We Sing To The Stars concert was dedicated to Tose’s life and music.
