Audrey Marie Bartolo from Malta has been successful at the 2012 Universong Festival in Tenerife, Spain. She took the bronze prize of third place with the song, Shivers, composed by 1996 Malta Eurovision entrant, Miriam Christine and Deo Grech.
Audrey Marie Bartolo has had much success in festivals in Malta such as the Indipendenza Festival (KKI), Malta Hit Contest and of course the Malta Eurosong with the song Good Intentions.
She was invited to participate at the Universong Festival by the World Association of Festivals and Artists (WAFA) to represent Malta at this contest. Audrey competed against 15 other worldwide countries including Thailand, Mexico, Malaysia, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Russia, Lithuania and El Salvador.
Audrey Marie is delighted at her success and would like to thank WAFA president Robert Cefai and Anna Bonnet, her representative, for their support.
