A new Eurovision fan is born

The big community of Eurovision fans has increased by one as Hanna Sofia was born this morning. At the moment she seems to enjoy her mother’s breast more than anything, but we feel sure that once she discovers music she will soon develop a particular taste of her own.

Ok, it might happen every minute that a new child is born, but Hanna Sofia is something special as she is the first child born to a EuroVisionary team member, since we launched in February this year.
Steve Paxton and his wife Claire who met at a convention for Eurovision fans in the UK, already have two children who are being raised as Eurovision fans.

Francesca, the oldest, is five years old and her favourite Eurovision Song Contest entry is Hard Rock Hallelujah by Lordi, however she also has a good ear to Alcastar by Alcazar from the Swedish final 2005. Her younger brother, Jacob, is three year years and has Je T’adore by Kate Ryan as his favourite Eurovision Song Contest entry.

It was a fast birth as Hanna Sofia came out in the world after just 3 hours in labour. Her weight was 8 pounds and 2 ounces (3,6 kg). Be assured that just as her siblings she will grow up being a Eurovision fan although her parents don’t agree on music. Her mother, who has a particular love for Finnish music will keep playing her favourite entry Hullo Yo for her while Steve will try to get Hanna Sofia to share his passion for Italy and his favourite Eurovision Song Contest entry Avrei Voluto.

The whole team behind EuroVisionary would like to wish Hanna Sofia a lifetime of happiness. We hope she wont be driving her parents more crazy than they already are :-). Congratulations!
