Moldova has confirmed its participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo, Norway, adding another country to the list.
Moldova will chose it’s participant at the end of January next year. A new rule has been introduced stating that the winner must be from Moldova, of Moldovan nationality, or if a band wins, then one of the members must be Moldovan.
Moldova has participated in the contest five times, debuting in 2005. The best result was in 2005, when it achieved 6th position, and the worst was 2008. in 11th position.
