Georgia on our minds for Junior Eurovision

Georgia have selected three girls and one boy to represent them at the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Amsterdam.  The band currently do not have a name and at the moment are being referred to as the ‘fantastic four’. 

After a series of auditions the Georgian broadcaster, GPB, decided to change the format of their selection for the Junior Eurovision.  Instead of a various artists national final the tv company decided to form a band.  The group, who will have their official name announced in due course, will perform several songs in the Georgian final to be held in September. 

The group consist of girls Keti Samkharadze (13 years old), Nini Dashniani (11 years old), Elene Arachashvili (10 years old) and the only boy is Luka Karmazanashvili (12 years old).

Georgia are the current Junior Eurovision champions having won in Armenia with the song Candy Music by Group Candy.
