The Funkids to sing Funky Lemonade for Georgia at Junior Eurovision

The Funkids will represent Georgia at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest with the song, Funky Lemonade.  The song is composed by Giga Kukhianidze, Nana Tsintsadze and the FunKids themselves.  It is a fun song and is about how good the drink of lemonade is at any time of day or any season and how ‘cool’ it is.

There was no national selection in Georgia this year.  A few months ago auditions were held and a band was put together especially for the Junior Eurovision in Amsterdam on 1 December.

The Funkids are Nini, Luka, Elene and Katy.  One of the composers and producer is Giga Kukhianidze.  He was behind the success winning acts of Bzikebi in 2008 and Candy in 2011 and the popular Mariam Kakhelishvili in 2010.

The official video will be ready for release very soon.  In the meantime you can hear Funky Lemonade below.
