Last night, Bulgaria ploughed relentlessly on with their selection process with the second of three quarter finals. The two public choices and the jury choice from heats four, five and six battled it out for three available places in the semi finals.
Nine acts were due to participate but only eight took to the stage. Bobi Kokera, Bleki & Sunnie were due to perform Tozi Pat but were unable to due to illness. The acts performed in the following order:
1) Antoniya Markova – Don’t Leave By the Day
2) Plamen Penev – Dalechen Svyat
3) Itso Petroff & Priyateli – Rokendrol Izkustvo
4) Lazar Kisyov – You’re Not Alone
5) Gergana Dimova – Yasno Slantse
6) Annayah – Az Te Chakam
7) Fanagoria & Milena Peeva – Love Never Ends
8) Emiliya Valenti – S Teb
After ten minutes of voting, the Bulgarian public had made up their minds and the results are as follows;
1st – Gergana Dimova – Yasno Slantse – 41.42%
2nd – Plamen Penev – Dalechen Svyat – 14.26%
3rd – Emiliya Valenti – S Teb – 12.46%
4th – Annayah – Az Te Cchakam – 8.97%
5th – Antoniya Markova – Don’t Leave By the Day – 8.83%
6th – Fanagoria & Milena Peeva – Love Never Ends – 6.06%
7th – Lazar Kisyov – You’re Not Aalone – 4.56%
8th – Itso Petroff & Priyateli – Rokendrol Izkustvo – 3.44%
Gergana Dimova, Plamen Penev and Emiliya Valenti qualify for the semi final, to be held in February. Over the coming weeks, three more heats will take place to decide the participants in the third and final quarter final on 18th December.
