Last year we saw Gina Dirawi hosting Melodifestivalen with a different host by her side for each show. This year SVT will keep the same three hosts throughout the Melodifestivalen tour.
Hasse Andersson took part in Meldodifestivalen 2015 with the song “Guld och gröna skogar”
a song that ended fourth in the final and enjoyed tremendous success afterwards.
David Lindgren entered Melodifestivalen three times: 2012, 2013 and 2016 and made it the final
at all three occasions with a fourth place as best in 2012 with the song Shout It Out. He is now looking
forward to host the competition and one of the stops on the tour will be his hometown Skellefteå in February.
22-year old Clara Henry had a role in Melodifestivalen 2014 where she was host for the before- and after
broadcast on the web. She also did shorter monologues from the the green room the same year.
