Last year Roger Cicero ended 19th out of a total of 24 participating countries in the final. Tonight five names will compete for the chance to prove that they can do better than that in Belgrade in May.
The participants in the 2008 German national final are the two pop groups No Angels and Marquess, pop star Tommy Reeve, rock group Cinema Bizarre and musical star Carolin Fortenbacher. The national final, called Grand Prix Vorentscheid 2008, will be held in Hamburg by host Thomas Hermanns. They show starts at 20:15 CET and EuroVisionary will be bringing you live updates up until we know who will be representing Germany in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest in May.
