Yesterday in Helsinki the second semifinal of UMK, the show that select Finland representative for the Eurovision contest was held. Of the six songs that competed, three took the ticket to the final that will be held on the 28th of February.
The 6 songs that competed in yesterday’s semifinal were:
- Siru "Mustelmat" Eliminated
- Shava "Ostarilla" Quallified watch here
- Otto Ivar "Truth or Dare" Eliminated
- Eeverest "Love It All Away" Eliminated
- Opera Skaala "Heart of Light" Quallified watch here
- Jouni Aslak "Lions and Lambs" Quallified watch here
Shava, Opera Skaala and Jouni Aslak received the highest number of public votes and move one step closer to representing Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 as they joined Satin Circus, Norlan El Misionario and Pertti Kurikan Nimipaivat who qualified from the first semi-final last week.
Next week, a third semi-final will take place to decide who will get the three remaining spots in the grand final, which takes place on 28th of February.
