The Moldovan national broadcaster TRM, has held the country’s national final, O Melodie Pentru Europa, to choose its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest. At the end of the night Sun Stroke Project & Olia Tira took the ticket for Oslo.
The show began at 19.45 CET on TRM. Due to technical problems on TVI channel’s live webstream, the show was only broadcast by satellite.
The show took place at the TV channel’s own Studio 2 and was hosted by Iurie Gologan, Dianna Rotaru and Lucian Dumitrescu. There were fourteen acts vying to take ticket for Eurovision Song Contest and the semi-finals:

4. Pasha – You Should Like
5. Dyma – Manipulate
6. Pavel Turcu – Imn Eurovision
7. Eugen Doibani – Love Sweet Love
8. Boris Covali – No Name
9. Carolina Gorun – Addicted
10. Gicu Cimbir – Cine Sunt Eu
11. Millenium – Before You Go
12. Cristina Croitor – My Heart
13. Monkey Mind & Daniela – Smile
14. Alexandru Manciu – Rămîi Lîngă Mine
After the performances ended, it was time to count the votes. The result would be decided by a 50/50 split of the votes. Sun Stroke Project & Olia won the O Melodie Pentreu Europa 2010 with their song Run Away.
Moldova will be participating at the 1st semi-final of Eurovision Song Contest this year. Last year’s ‘O Melodie Pentreu Europa’ winner, Nelly Ciobanu, participated in the Eurovision Song Contest for Moldova. She was placed 14th with Hora Din Moldova.
