He has signed an exclusive agreement with the prestigious Blue Note division of EMI Music France label to consolidate his career internationally. This new edition of the album includes some bonus tracks as well as his Eurovision entry Madness Of Love and its original Italian version.
The multitalented Italian singer won the Young Artists Section of the 2011 Festival of Sanremo with Follia d’Amore which led to him becoming the first Italian representative since 1997 to take part at the Eurovision Song Contest, performing a version of his song in both Italian and English language entitled Madness Of Love and reaching a remarkable second place.
His second studio album, Reality And Fantasy, which was written, produced an arranged by Raphael Gualazzi himself was first released on February 2011 by the top Italian independent label Sugar Music. So far, it has sold more than 100,000 copies in Italy being awarded with the prestigious platinum certification by the Federation of the Italian Music Industry.
In October 2011 a special edition of the album was released in Italy including bonus tracks such as Zuccherino Dolce, New Orleans, Carola or Don’t Stop and an additional DVD featuring his concert at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome.
Compared to the first Italian edition, this international version features some additional tracks but no new songs as they were already included on the special edition but, among the surprises of this re-edition is the original and non-remixed sound of the song Reality And Fantasy since on the previous album it was remixed by Gilles Peterson.
