Magnus Carlsson’s biggest hits on new double CD

Melodifestival veteran Magnus Carlsson, former member of success bands like Alcazar and Barbados, have collected 40 of his biggest hits on a double CD to be released in a few weeks. The album includes all of his seven Melodifestival entries from 2000 to 2007.

Magnus Carlsson is one of Sweden’s most successful singers, first as a member of the “boy band” Barbados, then as a part of the “ABBA look-a-like group” Alcazar and since 2006 as a solo singer.
Since 2000 he has participated in the Swedish Eurovision selection, Melodifestivalen, a total of seven times and all of these songs are of course to be found on this “Greatest Hits” album.

Magnus Carlsson’s seven Melodifestival entries:

2000: Se Mig (Barbados) – came second in the final
2001: Allt Som Jag Ser (Barbados) – came second in the final
2002: Världen Utanför (Barbados) – came fourth in the final

2003: Not A Sinner, Nor A Saint (Alcazar) – came third in the final
2005: Alcastar (Alcazar) – came third in the final

2006: Lev Livet (Magnus Carlsson solo) – came eight in the final
2007: Live Forever (Magnus Carlsson solo) – came fifth in the Semi-final

The double CD that contains Magnus Carlsson’s 40 biggest hits is called "Re:collection 93-08" will be released the 12th of November, but can be pre-ordered now.
