Today came the moment many had been waiting for; the reveal of the song Engelbert Humperdinck will be singing at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest representing the United Kingdom. Can Love Will Set You Free make it all the way to the top?
United Kingdom haven’t won the Eurovision Song Contest since 1997 with Love Shine A Light and the announement of Engelbert Humperdinck to represent them this year, didn’t exactly make the many British fans think that 2012 would be the year for the next victory, but first they needed to wait to hear the song.
In Baku, where this year’s Eurovision Song Contest will be held, 75 year old Engelbert Humperdinck will sing the song Love Will Set You Free. The song was presented at 11:00 CET today (10:00 UK time) on both BBC’s Eurovision site as well on the official Eurovision Song Contest website; Eurovision.tv.
