Lordi’s drummer Tonmi “Otus” Lillman passed away – only 38 years old

The Finnish hardrock band Lordi, that won the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest today reports that their drummer Tonmi Otus Lillman has passed away only 38 years old. The band is sending their condolences to his family and friends, while thanking him for the time they had with him.

Tonmi "Otus" Lillman joined Lordi in 2010 and was as such not a part of the band when they won the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Hard Rock Hallelujah and brought the international contest to Finland for the first time ever.

On their website they have today posted this short message to inform about the death of Tomni Lillman: "Our dear friend and bandmate "Otus" Tomni Lillman has sadly passed away. He will be greatly missed and we send condolences to his family and friends". And they continue: "Otus, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the short time we got to know you and spend with you together. Rest in peace, friend".
