There have been several Eurovision related charity events held in Ireland over the years. The last was Eurovision for Asia which was held in 2005 in aid of the tsunami victims from late the previous year.  This weekend ‘Headway’ an Irish charity holds their Eurovision themed fundraiser.

Guests will include two former Eurovision participants, Mickey Harte will headline the event and Donna McCaul will make a special appearance.  Other big name guests include Alan Hughes from TV3 and 2008 Irish national finalist Donal Skehan.   The Charity helps people affected by acquired brain injury and all proceeds will go towards this aim.

Tickets cost €20 when booked in advance and €22 on the door.  The event will take place in ‘Break for the border’ on Dublin’s Stephens Street on Friday May 16th. Doors open at 8pm.
