Eurovision related artists at traditional Irish festival

The World Fleadh is an annual event that celebrates traditional Irish music. This year the fleadh takes place in Portlaoise a provincial Irish town with roughly 20,000 inhabitants.  

There is no shortage of Eurovision related artists at this year’s edition with appearances by Brian Kennedy, Moya Brennan and The Hothouse flowers.  Brian, who will be no stranger to Eurovision, will guest at a concert by Frankie Gavin & the Dublin Philharmonic Orchestra.  Moya Brennan who competed at the Irish national final of 1973 as part of Clannad.

The 1988 Eurovision interval act The Hothouse Flowers will play a gig at Sky venue on August 2nd starting at 10.30.
