Estonian broadcaster, ETV, have announced the line up of the Eesti Laul 2009 contest. The contest was formally known as the Eurolaul.
1 – Laura – Destiny
2 – Rolf Junior – Freedom
3 – Chalice – Nelikümmend
4 – Ithaka-Maria – One Last Dance
5 – Sandra Nurmsalu – Rändajad
6 – Traffic – See Päev
7 – Janne Saar – Too Good For You
8 – StereoChemistry – Öösiti Kõndides
9 – Köök – Üürnik
10 – Lowry – You Ain’t What I Need
Estonia has not qualified for the final since the semi final format was introduced in 2004. Also hoping that their luck will change are Laura, Rolf Junior, Maria and Lowry. Laura sang Moonwalk in the 2006 Eurolaul and Sunflowers in 2007. Rolf Junior sang One on One in 2008. Maria was part of Slobodan River, while Lowry was part of Soul Militia in Eurolaul 2007.
The final is 7th March 2009.
