Armenian singer Marianna Hovhannisyan enters Swiss selection

Popular Armenia singer, Marianna Hovannisyan, has submitted the song, Love Me More, for the Switzerland national selection.  This year’s selection is open to artists not only from Switzerland but any other country. 

Marianna Hovannisyan is 18 years old and is very popular in Armenia.  She has already had 6 big chart hits in her home country including her latest song, Du, and will shortly be releasing her debut album.

She has won many prizes in Armenia and has been very successful in international competitions.  In Armenia she has won the ‘The Best Hit of The Year’ and ‘The Opening Of The Year’ prizes.  Marianna has also won first prize in festivals in Italy, Czech Republic, Russia, Bulgaria and Germany.

The deadline for submissions for songs for the Swiss selection is 30 October.  Voting for the songs will start on 1 November.  The finalists will be announced on 11 December.
