The national broadcaster in Ukraine, NTU, has announced the 20 finalists who will participate in the 2013 Junior Eurovision national selection. More than 50 acts submitted applications and eventually 20 finalists were selected by an expert jury and one lucky act will represent Ukraine in their own capital, Kiev, on 30 November.
The competition was extremely tough as the children presented a variety of songs and styles. It was very difficult for the jury to make their selections but after very careful consideration they come up with 20 acts. The lucky finalists are –

For the next stage of the competition the children will head to the Black Sea at Crimea to the International Children Centre Artek. There they will undergo extensive training and perfect the vocals and stage technique with top choreographers and vocal coaches.
The national final will take place on 2 August and will be broadcast live on First National Channel in Ukraine. Whoever wins has the lucky responsibility of following last year’s winner of Junior Eurovision, Anastasiya Petryk.
