Norwegian preview shows scheduled

Instead of the usual Nordic preview shows the 5 countries have decided to go each their own way this year. NRK has just revealed their dates for the preview shows which last four weeks.

The Norwegian shows called “Adresse Beograd” will be aired first time Tuesday the 22nd of April on NRK3 and repeated on NRK1 Friday and Sunday the 25th and 27th. The same schedule will be used for the three following weeks making Tuesday the 13th the last show. A small detail about the last week though is that the reruns will be Friday the 16th and Saturday the 17th.

The Nordic show with five experts giving points to the participating songs have been dropped after SVT decided to pull out. They wanted their own show where they then invited Finland to take part and left Norway, Denmark and Iceland on their own. These three countries couldn’t agree on how to get together about one show and decided to go each their way.

In my view

The Nordic shows will be missed… and hard to replace! It will be interesting to see what they can do on their own, but the Nordic shows had a special thing about it which I personally think will be hard to replace.
