Monday evening the film version of Mamma Mia was premiered on Leicester Square in London. Three out of the four ABBA stars turned up, only Agnetha Fältskog didn’t show up for the premiere of the film that features Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan.
Benny Andersson turned up together with his wife Mona Norkit. His previous ABBA wife Anni-Frid Lyngstad is now called Frida Reuss after her marriage to German Prince Ruzzo Reuss von Plauen. He passed away in 1999 and Frida turned up alone at the premiere where also Björn Ulvaeus turned up with his partner Lena Kallersjö. Only Agnetha Fältskog didn’t show up, but that didn’t really surprise anyone, as she is known for living a very private life staying out of the cameras spotlight.
More than 30 million people in 160 cities around the world saw the musical version of Mamma Mia and the film edition will be similar to the musical.
