France
France joined the Eurovision Song Contest at is beginning in 1956. They country is a stabile participant only having two year's off, in 1974 and 1982. When the semi-finals were introduced in 2004, France became a part of big4 and later big5 and as such is guaranteed a spot in the final each year. The country has won the contest a total of five times, although it has been a while since the last time. First time was in 1958 and last time in 1977. The 1976 entry, Un, deux, trois remained France's highest scoring entry at Eurovision, beaten only in 2016 by Amir.
In the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest, France is represented by Tom Leeb.
