Serbia confirms internal selection for Eurovision 2017

Today the national broadcaster of Serbia, RTS (Radio Televizija Srbije) confirmed that they will again, choose their Eurovision entry, by internal selection. The date of the song presentation has not yet been announced.

The Serbian national broadcaster confirmed that the artist and the song will be announced, sometime in early March.  This year, will mark 10 years since Serbia debuted in the contest as an independent nation. They went on to win the contest with Molitva by Marija Serifovic in Helsinki, Finland.

Radio Televizija Srbije used the same method in 2016, when they sent Sanja Vučić ZAA with the song Goodbye (Shelter). She finished in 18th place with 115 points in the Grand final. That was the lowest placing in the Grand final for Serbia. In 2009 and 2013 the country failed to qualify to the final.

Now that Serbia has officially confirmed its selection process, it now leaves, only San Marino, Croatia and Australia to publicly announce their selection method.
