It’s not often that the delegation from Bosnia and Herzegovina have a party, so Eurovisionary jumped at the chance to attend.
The embassy is on the 5th floor of a building on the fashionable Bygdøy Allé. Many of the other embassies are loacted around here in this leafy suburb too. The party itself was in the roof garden above said embassy, and it was a gorgeous evening, with not a cloud in the sky. It commanded excellent views of Oslo Fjord on one side and the hills, complete with Holmenkollen ski jump, on the other.
The ambassador welcomed us all personally, before making a brief speech to us. He welcomed the delegates and various singers who’d made the effort too. Among them was party animal Marcin Mrozinski.
After a further warm up band playing Bosnian rock, Vukašin took to the stage to perform a small set. The highlights were a pasable cover of Ben E King’s Stand by me before singing Thunder and lightning.
With the traditional food and drink from BiH, they acquitted themselves well with a marvellous evening.
