The show was natrurally presented in the Icelandic language, a language was is very soft on the ears. Before each song performed, some juries gave their opinions. Between each song, RUV tv also showed some of the old songs which have participated in the Icelandic final in the past.
The first song, Got No Love, was performed by girl band Electra. The song was a mix of rock and electronic music. The show continued with second song Cobwebs which is slow song. The song reminded me of Hera Björk and Chiara songs as well. Unnur Birna performed the song with her violin. The third song, performed by Jógvan, was another slow song, I Think the World of You. While he was performing, he probably took many girls hearts with his song. The fourth song sung in a rock style. Halla performed her rock song Roses with her band.
After the performing section ended, the results were revealed and Elektra and Jógvan Hansen qualified for the final. With these results, the Icelandic semifinals are now complete, and the songs for the final show have been chosen.
