Gina G represented the United Kingdom at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest with Ooh Aah…Just A Little Bit. She finished in 8th place. Now Gina has made a comeback to the pop scene with a brand new single. The song is called Next 2 You.
Gina G was born in Australia and decided to move the United Kingdom to pursue musical opportunities. Her big break came when she was selected to represent the United Kingdom at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest with Ooh Aah…Just A Little Bit. The song finished in 8th position at Eurovision but the reached the coveted number 1 position in the UK charts. The song went on to be an international smash hit too and went to number 1 in many other countries.
Her debut album, Fresh, sold over 2 million copies and yielded 5 more hit singles.
Gina took a break from the music scene to start a family. She made a comeback in 2006 with the dance hit Tonight’s The Night. Now after another break Gina is back with a brand new sound and the great new dance song called Next 2 You. The song features rapper, Vigilante.
The song will be released on 9 October and will be available to order from HMV.COM and iTunes.
Gina is currently working on her next studio album which will be released soon.
