Greece ready for national final

Tomorrow evening the Greek population will pick the entry that will represent the country in Belgrade. You can see the promotion videos of the three songs that are competing in the show, that features four of the songs the winner will be up against in May.

The show will be presented by Betty and Mathilde Maggira live from Athens Arena. The three participants are 22-year-old Chrispa, 23-year-old Kostas and 22-year-old Kalomoira. Chrispa is the most experienced, having released 5 albums during the past four years. She will be singing the song A Chance To Love. Kostas, who is singing, Always & Forever, has only released one, but he is also more known as a model and as a part of the TV reality show "Dream show." Kalomoira is known to the TV viewers as well as she has been a part of a long running soap opera, but has since that released a couple of albums. Her song is called Secret Combination.

No matter who wins then the winner gets the chance to compare their own chances against some of his or her competitors in Belgrade in May as four of the already chosen ones for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest will appear as special guests, together with Sarbel who participated for Greece last year with the song Yassou Maria and finished 7th.

The four international guests are Rebeka Dremelj representing Slovenia, the Albanian representative Elnur, Evdokia, the Cypriot Femme Fatale, and Nico & Vlad Mirita who won in Romania on Saturday, but ever since has been met with accusations of plagiarism.

The winner will be chosen with a combination of jury and televoting. The public votes will count 60% and jury 40%.
