Back in 1994, Poland had an amazing Eurovision debut. Edyta Górniak represented the country and finished in second place with the song To Ni Ja. If fans thought, they could walk on water, they however quickly came down to earth again. Poland's second top 10 result came in 2016 where Color Of Your Life surprisingly came in 8th.
In 2004, semi-finals were introduced, and Poland failed to reach the final in 2005, 2006, 2007 and again another three years from 2009 to 2011. The country didn't take part in 2012 and 2013, but they came back stronger in 2014 - since when they have qualified for the final each year.
