Azerbaijan joined the Eurovision Song Contest and has since then been one of the best scoring countries. Aside from 2014, the country has never finished outside top10 - and up until 2015, 5 out of their 7 entries even ended in top5.
The country won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 with the song with Ell & Nikki's song Running Scared.
In 2015 Azerbaijan is represented by Elnur Huseynov who also represented his country in 2008.
