Kati Wolf was born in 1974 in Szentendre and was propelled to nationwide stardom at the young age of 7, when she was chosen to perform the soundtrack to the Hungarian cartoon film Vuk (The Fox Cub). Kati continued to make music, graduating as a teacher, a chorus master from the Hungarian Music Academy. Having previously collaborated with various acts representing different musical genres, Kati’s definitive breakthrough came in 2010, when she made it to the finals of the Hungarian version of the X Factor talent show.
The stunning songstress has released two albums up until now (notwithstanding the release of the Vuk soundtrack from 1981). Her first album entitled Wolf-áramlat was released in 2009, however success eluded her. Following her triumphant performance on the X Factor show, her album Az Első X – 10 Dal Az Élő Showból was released. Kati cites Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand, Queen, Peter Cetera and Earth Wind and Fire among her favourite artists, telling how she loves the way she can express thoughts, feelings and moods through song.
