Evelina Sašenko is 23 years old and was born to a Polish-Lithuanian family. Evelina is a classically trained musician and performer. She is known in Lithuania for her classical and jazz influenced singing.
She became popular after participating in a tv contest for classical singers, Triumfo Arka. This lead to Evelina performing with the Lithuania State Symphony Orchestra.
Evelina finished 3rd in the 2010 Lithuanian national selection with the song For This I’ll Pray.
Now Evelina will go to Germany and represent Lithuania with the beautiful ballad, C’est Ma Vie. Her classical influences can be heard in this song sung in English and French. A lot of people have said to Evelina that this song reminds them of a song that could be in a musical. She is happy about this as she would love to sing in a popular musical one day.
