Daria Kinzer was born on 29 May 1998 in Aschaffenburg in the German state of Bavaria. She has a Croatian mother and a German father, and can speak both languages fluently. She was raised in Austria.
She had singing lessons for a very early age from Austrian pop supremo Thomas Frank, who himself was later a judge on the Austrian talent contest Starmania. After experimenting with jazz and more modern sounds, she returned to her first love: musicals while studying at the Franz Schubert Academy. At the tender age of 12, she played the lead role of Beauty in Beauty and the beast. Daria has also appeared in productions of Chicago, Cats, Hair and Little shop of horrors.
In 2003 she released her first CD singing songs from Musicals. She has also continued with her concerts, at places such as the Vienna Concert Hall, the Vienna City Hall and the Catfish City Theatre.
Daria is now also working as a vocal coach, passing on the benefit of her experience working on the stage and in the studio.
