Sofia Nizharadze was born in Tbilisi in 1986. She will represent Georgia at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest with the song, Shine.
Even at the age of 3 years old, Sofia was on the stage. She eventually graduated from the Tbilisi State Conservatory. She studied vocals and played the piano.
She has become very popular in Georgia and has won several music competitions in places such as Italy, Russia and Georgia.
Sofia is also a star of the stage and has performed in such musicals as Romeo & Juliet.
Sofia released a cd in 2008 called Where Are You. She is currently working on her next album.
