2009: Next Time - Нешто што ќе остане

Next Time is a duo made up of twin brothers Martin & Stefan Filipovski, born in Skopje in 1986. The pair have experienced a meteoric rise to stardom in their native Macedonia. Their adventure began while they were still youngsters, playing as a garage band at various gigs. They formed Next Time early in 2008, after been offered a contract with Plan B Production after songwriter Jovan Jovanov discovered the two.

Their first single Не верувам во тебе (I Don’t Believe in You) thrust them into the spotlight, immediately making them the toast of the Macedonian music scene and sold by the shedload. The duo then participated at the Zvezdena Nok music festival in June 2008, wher they won the award "Summer Hit of the Year" with their follow up single, Ме мислиш ли? (Am I In Your Thoughts?). Later that same year saw the release of a third single, Ме остави сам да живеам (You Left Me All Alone) as they were named best new artist. The twins entered the MakFest in October 2008, winning the second semi final. With their fourth single release Без тебе тивко умирам (I’m Slowly Dying Without You) they finished 2nd in the final, losing out by a measly three points.

Their debut album Некст Тајм was released just before Christmas 2008, also becoming an instant smash hit. Macedonia just couldn’t get enough of the brothers, so it seemed. The promising duo have a merit list as long as your arm, including the Star Orbit Popularity award (2008), Best New Artist at the Ohrid Fest (2008), MakFest 1st and 2nd place in the semi final and final respectively, Hit of the Year at the Mars Festival (2008), Superstar Teenage Idols (2008) as well as the prestigious award from the Macedonian
Ministry of Culture, when the two were awarded a diploma for recognition of their work.
