Nodi Tatishvili and Sophie Gelovani are both very popular singers in Georgia having achieved much success as solo artists.
Nodi has taken part in many festivals in Georgia and abroad including the Amber Star competition in Lithuania, Astana 2007 in Kazakhstan, Golden Voices in Moldova and Slavianksy Bazar festival in Belarus. His popularity also went even higher when he won the talent series, Geostar, in Georgia in 2009. His debut album was released in 2011 called I Am Georgian.
Sophie’s career really blossomed after winning the talent series, Morning Star, in 1999 in Georgia. She has also had success at festivals at home and abroad. She won first prize at the Do-Re-Mi contest in Armenia in 2000 and also took the top honours at the Songs Of The World Grand Prix in Moldova in 2006. In 2007 she won the first place at Vesna Romansa festival in St. Petersburg, Russia and the Moscow International Contest in the same year.
Now Nodi and Sophie sing together for the first time representing Georgia at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest with Waterfall in Sweden.
