2013: Elitsa Todorova, Stoyan Yankulov - Samo Shampioni

Elitsa and Stoyan are both veteran names in Bulgarian music industry where they make a great combination of rhythms.

Elitsa Todorova is coming from one of the bigest cities in the country, Varna, where her career was started in very early ages. Later on, her profession was focussed on folkloric musics as Elitsa participated in the choirs of Mystery of Bulgarian voices and Cosmic Voices of Bulgaria.  She performed the compositions of Yiddish and Sanskrit during her participation.

Stoyan Yankulov already was a very famous and experienced drummer and percussionist before his path was crossed with Elitsa. Though Stoyan started his musical education in piano at his very early ages, he decided to focus on percussional instruments. He has also won numerous highly-rated prizes in jazz, pop and ethnic musics where he played with various musical groups.

The duos ways are crossed in 2003 and they hit the top of the charts in a very short time. In 2007, they won the Bulgarian national selection and would be the Bulgarian representatives at the Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki and they managed to pass the semi-finals for the first and the last time so far, therefore they are holding the country’s best position up to now.
