Aliona Moon is a new and up and coming artist in Moldova where she is receiving a lot of positive acclaim. Aliona has already taken to the Eurovision stage. She was a backing singer at the 2012 Eurovision with her composer Pasha Parfeny in Azerbaijan with the song, Lautar.
Aliona was born in Chisinau in 1989 and has already competed in many song contests at home in Moldova and other countries such as Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, France and Belarus.
She took part in the Moldovan tv talent series Fabrica de Staruri where she finished in third place. Then she was part of a girl band from the tv show called Thumbs Up.
Aliona gained a like for the Eurovision stage in 2012 and Pasha Parfeny and others encouraged her to take part in the Moldovan Eurovision selection in 2013. After her win with A Million at the festival she will now represent her country in Sweden.
