Zlata Ognevich is a popular star in Ukraine. She has had many hits and has been successful in music awards and festivals.
Zlata was born in Murmansk, Russia. She moved with her family to Sudak in the Crimea, Ukraine. Here began her passion for music and her love for the nature of the mountains and sea.
She won the tv talent series Peoples Star 3 and the First Singing Radio Hosts competition. Zlata has also won at festivals abroad in places such as Kazahkstan and Russia and took the top prize the Crimea Music Festival in Yalta.
Zlata has participated in the Ukrainian Eurovision selection in 2010 with Tiny Island and finished in 5th place. In 2012 she also participated with The Kukushka and finished runner up.
Now Zlata returns as the participant for Ukraine at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest with her highly rated song, Gravity.
