Getter Jaani was born in Tallinn in 1993. After leaving school she started studying shoe design. In 2009 she took part in Eesti otsib superstaari, the Estonian version of Pop idol, where she came fourth. In 2010 she performed in the Estonian version of High School Musical. So far she has released three singles and one album. On February 26th, 2011 she finally won the ticket to represent her home country at the Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf.
