A Friend In London is a band that consist of the four guys Tim, Sebastian, Aske and Esben. The band was founded in 2005 where they met each other at a school. They won the European final of the festival Bodog Million Dollar Battle three years later. This became the start of a career mainly focused on Canada where they have been touring several times and also headed off to right after winning the Danish final.
The songwriters are both well established names. Lise Cabble has participated in the Danish final, the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, with as much as ten songs over a period of 8 years. This is the second time one of her entries goes to the Eurovision Song Contest with the first being in 1995 where Aud Wilken sang Fra Mols Til Skagen to a 5th place at the international final.
The other songwriter Jakob Glæsner plays in the band Johnny Deluxe, who participated in the Danish final in 2009 with the song Sindssyg that ended up becoming quite a hit in the months that followed.
