Peter Nalitch is an example of how one video on YouTube can make one well known within very little time – even in a large country like Russia. As an unknown singer he published a video to his song Guitar on the video sharing site, one person saw it, liked it and sent the link to his or her friends who yet again sent the link to others and after a month more than 70.000 people had seen it.
He found a group of musicians to back him up on stage and under the name MKPN they performed a couple of concerts in winter 2008. Their popularity increased when they the following summer went to Beijing to support the Russian participants during the Olympics.
