2009: Zoli Ádok - Dance With Me

Zoli Ádok, born Zoltán Ádok on the 22nd of March in Szeged, Hungary is an all round Hungarian entertainer. He has always harboured dreams of performing, and so studied classical ballet, modern dance as well as acting and singing at the High School of Performing Arts from 1990-1994. After graduating, he chose to purse his dream further and was fortunate enough to get a tenure with the National Ballet Company in Pécs, where he featured in productions such as Romeo and Juliet, Coppelia and The Magnificient Mandarin.

Zoli has also performed in theatre and musical productions, such as My Fair Lady and Some Like It Hot; he has also appeared at the Stadt Theater Klagenfurt, Austria in the operetta Csárdásfürstin. It was upon joining Le Dance Contemporary Dance Company in 2000 that his career really began to take off, giving Zoli the opportunity to travel widely, amongst other places to Switzerland, where he starred in Fame, and to Berlin, where he starred in Cats from 2002-2004.

From 2004 Zoli literally did get to see a lot of the world, as he worked aboard a cruiseship for three years, performing variety and musical shows such as Cats, Chicago, Mamma Mia, Fiddler on the Roof and Miss Saigon. In recent years however, focus in his career has shifted from dance to making music. This began in 2008 with the launch of his debut album, Tánclépés (Dance With Me) onto the Hungarian market. He has since released a follow up album in 2011, Három Álom, both albums being entirely in Hungarian. He has to date released three singles; Tánclépés (Dance With Me) in 2009, Sebesült Szív (Why Don’t You) in 2010 and Három Álom (Three Dreams) in 2011.

Zoli is currently appearing in various musicals at the Madách Theatre, Budapest where he has roles in Cats, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Spamalot and Jesus Christ Superstar.
