Gypsy.cz, fronted by charismatic singer Radoslav Banga, are an ethnically Romani. Their style of music is a mix of hip-hop, rap and ethnic Roma sounds. The line up has changed over the years but at Eurovision consisted of Radoslav Banga,
They released their first album, Romano Hip Hop in 2006 with a mix of songs in Czech, Romani and English. One of the songs from this album, Muloland featured in the Czech Republic’s national final in 2007. It finished second. In 2008, Gypsy.cz again tried to represent the Czech Republic in Eurovision with the song Benga Beating. It again finished second to Tereza Kerndlová and Have some fun.
In 2008 Gypsy.cz released their second album, Reprezent. From this and their previous performance in Czech national finals, Czech TV selected Gypsy.cz internally to perform in Moscow.
