Donatan has made quite the name for himself as a best selling music producer in his native Poland, having collaborated on more than fifty albums. He was born on the 2nd of September, 1984 in Kraków into a Russian-Polish family. His lengthy music career began in 2002 and the release of the album Brudne południe on which he had worked came in 2007. Since then he has worked with a string of names, including Pih, Chada, Pezet, Małolat, Paluch, Sheller and Waldemar Kasta. His own debut album Równonoc. Słowiańska dusza appeared in 2012 and became a best seller, topping the polish album charts, spawning a number of hit singles to boot.
His collaboration with vocalist Cleo (real name Joanna Klepko, born on the 25th of June, 1983 in Warsaw) is a recent one. She gained her first experience in the music industry as a singer in the gospel choir Soul Connection. Cleo has also taken part in and won the contest Studio Garaż in the rhythm and blues category and has also participated in the first season of TV talent show X Factor in 2011. The pair began working together last year after he’d discovered her. The first fruits of their labour was the single My Słowianie.
