A lot of Danes have bought the official album with all 43 acts from this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. The individual tracks however are performing poorly. Only Denmark’s own Rasmussen made the Danish charts.
If you want to check the Danish charts to see where the 2018 Eurovision winner Netta is, don’t bother. There is no need to check either if the Danes prefer Sweden’s Benjamin Ingrosso, Norway’s Alexander Rybak or maybe Mr Schulte from Germany who got their 12 points this year.
Last week’s official Danish charts only featured the album containing all 43 songs from the contest in Lisbon. It was #4 on the list of Compilation albums, and now it went further up. With four weeks on the list, it is now peaking at best selling.
With the official album as #1, one might think it would shine a bit on the individual songs, but that’s not really happening. Rasmussen did re-join the Track Top 40 though. His entry Higher Ground is 10th on the list with a total of four weeks. It peaked as #9.
