Sidsel Ben Semmane returns with new music as well as new name

Things has been rather quiet about Sidsel Ben Sammane since she represented Denmark at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. Now things are getting more spicier as she returns with a new EP released tonight – and a new stage name as well.

She was just 17 years old, dresses in a tight silver sleeveless top and jeans and wearing long golden boots. Her long blonde hair was hanging lose – and when she sang her catchy song Twist of Love on the Eurovision stage in Athens together with four female dancers and a male break dancer, Sidsel Ben Semmane, looked like the girl next door.

The scholgirl she was back then has grown up. After finishing highschool she has been travelling a lot in South America – and in Cuba in 2008 she meets the man she then married two years later. She has also been studying at the Academy of Music in Aarhus to mature more musically.

Tonight her new EP titled Break It under the new stage name Miss Lil’ Ben will be released, but you can already now listen to the songs on her website
